Lucid Player 2

The Lucid Player is a powerful program that allows the interactive use of identification and diagnostic keys created using the Lucid Builder.

The Player includes many powerful features that make it suitable for professional use as well as for educational and other purposes. The identification process facilitated by the Player is extremely effective and involves eliminating taxa or other objects according to characteristics or symptoms associated with the specimen you are trying to identify or diagnose. This process is supported by photographs, drawings, sound, video and text, which help to confirm that your choices are correct.

Lucid Player is available in two versions:

  • Lucid Player Plus has the full power of all the Player features and can be purchased online. Once it has been purchased it can then be registered on the Lucidcentral site which will allow you access to the latest updates and patches for your product.

  • Lucid Player Standard is a simpler version that can be downloaded FREE, allowing you to make non commercial keys available free.

What the Player can handle

The Lucid Player is suitable for identifying any kind of material, including organisms, inanimate objects such as minerals, and complex large-scale concepts such as land systems. It is also suitable for diagnostic keys, including medical keys and keys for diagnosing land and water problems. The ease of use of the Player makes it ideal for use as an aid to learning at all levels of education.

Lucid Player Plus

Lucid Player Plus is the latest version of the Player. Plus features an improved user interface, building on the successful interface of Version 1.0. Lucid Player Plus supports HTML, giving you limitless opportunities for describing and illustrating your material. The Player is web-capable, so users can access keys from remote websites.
